Psalm 146

Praise the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul. Praising God from our soul means to praise Him from the very inner-most part of ourselves.
I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. This verse talks about praising God ALL of our lives, not just when things are going well. Every day we need to make it our goal to continuously praise God.
Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. It is not our friends and family who will ALWAYS be there for us; it is God! God knows all and sees all and it is in Him that we should place our trust.
When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. People will pass away but God will never die. His plans will happen because He knows all.
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
Our help and hope should come from God.
the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— the LORD, who remains faithful forever. God will always be faithful.
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, God provieds and protects His children.
the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. God will change the way you see and think. God will raise up the humbled and bring down the proud.
The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. God watches over and take care of those who have no one to take care of them. He is our true Father.
The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD. The Lord will always reign!
